dear sweet family at the movie theater,

isn't this adventure called parenting fun? i can see that you are a lot like me in that you love spending time with your kids. I can see that you also take every opportunity to share life experiences and find teachable moments in the small things. and, what better place than a saturday afternoon family matinee?

can i just say how cute you 4 looked? your 2 small children were adorable. i loved their matching t-shirts. i also loved how you purchased those sweet little movie pacs, one for each of them, so there would be no fighting during the movie. i appreciate that more than the silencing of cell phones. also, isn't it cool how they have those booster seats so their little heads can see over the seats in front of them? that way they don't miss one pices of the action! sitting in the back corner was a smart move too. you probably didn't want to bother us with potty trips, or knock us in the back of the head with your diaper bag. thank you.

and while i will admit that i am more homer simpson than ned flanders, and i am never one to question a fellow soldier (we're all in this parenting fight together), i do question if a matinee of THE DARK KNIGHT was an appropriate choice for your 2 children under the age of 5.
but that's just me.
